Currently I am running Home Assistant as an unsupported installation in Docker on my NUC. I use my NUC for various other projects. Can I - if I install Home Assistant OS the proper way - install and run Docker on or next to Home Assistant OS?

There is a Portainer community addon for Home Assistant OS you could use to manage other containers.
[hassio-addons] This add-on is provided by the Home Assistant Community Add-ons project.

I’ll try that! Thanks a bunch!
If you use a NUC, I can recommend Proxmox and then just spin up a VM with Home Assistant OS and a VM for your other stuff.
