I have an existing RPi 4 and don’t really want to get a new one just to install hass.io; is there a way to install it on my existing Pi (and still keep running whatever servers/processes I have on it)? And if I do that, are there any disadvantages/features I’d be missing out on?

You don’t get the addon modules this way, but they are nothing more than standard Linux packages you can install yourself.
