I’ve been looking over info on using ESPHome on an ESP32 with an LCD display. It looks like all the displays it handles are smaller ones. Can it drive any larger screens? Maybe a 7" or 9" LCD screen?

The board has two USB-C connectors, labelled “USB” and “UART1”. Within ESPHome these correspond to logger serial ports USB_SERIAL_JTAG and UART0 respectively. Just as an FYI, you can dim the backlight on the Waveshare, but you have to solder a little to get it to work.
