Also, I feel like I don’t need to keep the hassbian installation. I would rather use that SD-card for hassio. The files from homeassistant is copied to a folder on my mac. I don’t see why I would need anything else. Why save an old installation that doesn’t work?

There’s two reasons:

1. It means if you didn’t copy something off, you can recover it later
2. SD cards have a limited life when used in a Pi, your current SD card has been in use for some time already. Starting with a fresh card means your new install will last longer before that SD card fails

I have been waiting for an hour for the prepare screen to be finished. I think it’s stucked. What to do? I have tried to restart and waited for a while but it doesn’t help.

Honestly, join the Discord server and post in the #supervised channel there - there’s usually people around who can help, and it’s much more effective than coming back here hoping somebody’s added something to move you on one step.
