the DNS setting worked for me as well, I donât know how to do with a fresh installâŠ
The weird part of this is that I only have this problem when connected to a Netgear R6120 if I connect my PIâs (I have a 3B and a 4) to a Netgear R7800 it work without an changes to DNS.
I have tried with the DNS setting on the router without any luck.
I will debug furtherâŠ
I had the exact same problem with the success of new installations not completing on new disks. The log (browser) had a completely wrong date and time. At first I suspected DNS and therefore took out the pi-hole as DNS server. But that did not help. Then I read that for NTP also the UDP protocol is needed and that was then the error: in my Fritzbox new devices may only âsurf and mailâ. After I deleted this restriction for the new Raspberry, everything worked!

Es war einfach so, dass mein Router diverse Ports blockiert hatte. Offenbar ist ohne funktionierendes NTP eine Installation nicht möglich.
Which means, for all the people who donât understand German?
