Hi Sebuzet,
i’ve Samsung AC type AR07KSWSAWKN wifi built on 2017.
Is there a guide or something else to begin?
I would to insert it on my HA and controller also its thermostat.
Is it possible?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for this.
How does the ‘auto’ setting work?
I don’t quite understand what the temperature range means. Is it supposed to mean that the AC will keep the temperature between these 2 values? I just tried it, and whilst the temperature in my room is 26 right now, the AC started cooling the room even though 26 is within this range.
Hi.
I own a AR07NXWXCWKNEU. I normally used smartsettings app on android and now I’d like to control it in Hass.io. I’m trying your component, but I can’t find AC’s IP address. Fing doesn’t find it and on router I can’t see anything like an AC.
How can I find its IP? Is it shown under a different name?
I found 2 devices “wisol”, they disappear if I shutdown electricity to my ACs, so those should be them, even if there’s no “Samsung” anywhere in their description.
My device is 2018, so it should be “new” and using port 8888, right?
Still trying to get a token…
Try looking for something like router. That is what mine showed up as.
it looks like “wisol” are the correct ones. But ports look closed…
anybody here with a 2018 windfree?
Hi @SebuZet, I have this climate that has it’s own app to control remotely and it does have an ip address. Can you let me know if it is possible to integrate with hassio? Let me know what I need to check on my end before going deeper. Thanks in advance!

ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.config] Invalid config for [climate.climate_ip]: invalid boolean value None for dictionary value @ data['poll']. Got None. (See /config/configuration.yaml, line 563). Please check the docs at https://home-assistant.io/components/climate.climate_ip/
My line 563 is begin on “climate”:
climate:
- platform: climate_ip
config_file: 'samsung_2878.yaml'
ip_address: 'x.x.x.x'
token: 'xxxxxx'
cert: ''
mac: 'xxxxxxxxx'
How resolve this issue?
Thank you

the vendor mac address is “Wisol” too.
Do you have any solution?
Thanks a lot.
Home assistant 0.96 has change the climate component, breaking the support of this custom component.
It’s possible adapt this component to version 0.96?
Hello everyone,
I’m sorry that I was not responding. I’ve got a lot of work, I was really busy…
I’m not able to help you with your new units. I don’t have such unit…
You have to find a way to get the token, please try to use google.
This component can work with any AC using REST API but you have to get token.
I will upgrade this component to make it working with new HA version but I need few days for that.
Regards,
Seba
