I had my electrician wire them in so dont know sorry, but replacement units have been fine since - no noise
I am also having the same issue with dimmer going brighter first before going to the previous brightness. The link to the discord is no longer valid, but do you know if their was any resolution to the issue? Thanks.
Update the device firmware.
Thank you. Running version 002.003.007 R. Zigbee2MQTT not showing any new version available. I might try changing one of my switches to Bluetooth and trying to see if there is any updates through the app.
Which model is it?
My dimmer pucks are 002.012.002 R.
And dimmer mechanisms: 002.003.007 R.
I am unable to find the original box, but it is either 41EPBDWCLMZ or 354PBDMBTZ Wiser 40/300-Series Module Dimmer
So that’s the push button mech, not the puck. Looks like you are on the latest version.
Damn, thank you for checking.
I’m in NZ, we have the PDL branded Wiser set up in our home. Our home is a mish mash of items across all the different brands.
Essentially though, of all the Wiser items, the only one that bothers me for integration is the cameras.
I would like to be able to view the cameras in the same application that I can control the majority of our devices, without having to change back to the Wiser App.
I mostly use Google Home, as that’s the one that most of our devices show up in. However, it does not display the camera views.
Before I go down this rabbit hole (I have adhd, I will hyperfocus on this to the point of forgetting everything else exists…) Has anyone also got the Wiser Cameras and successfully integrated them into HA?
TIA.
I am new to HA and noted with interest your success, I would love a more in-depth explanation of how you added them. I have currently only added items that showed up automatically.
Did you ever get the temperature to read anything but 0?
My 3 are doing the same. Just installed over the weekend.
Also, mine, although connected to the mains, only report being on battery power. Is that your experience?
Is it possible to change/control the light indicator on the zigbee light switch through HA ? Seems possible if you have the Wiser hub- which i don’t have?
Thanks for replying, cant seem to find it in HA
It’s not in HA. It is…
Go to the add-on web interface, if you are using zigbee2mqtt. You still have not told us if you are using that or ZHA.
Im using the Aeotec zigbee stick 7 with HA yellow
That does not answer my question. ZHA or Zigbee2mqtt?
As you don’t seem to know I’m going to guess ZHA, in which case ignore my post.
hi Tom, i apologies, I’M new to home assistant, so possible dont know the difference, would you care to elaborate then i could hopefully provide correct information
Im using ZHA
I have recently set up HAOS on an RPi and have a Sonoff USB Zigbee Dongle-E. Today, I installed my Clipsal Wiser CLP599WSAL smoke alarms, these are the 10yr, sealed lithium battery type. They all connected to HA and were identified as “W599001
by Schneider Electric” which is fine since that is the same device.
I get a temperature read out, a battery level and an alarm state in HA, however the Firmware is shown as “Unknown” and when I tested the system, no events were reported on HA.
Can HA read the firmware version and can it be updated via HA, or do I need to install the Wiser by SE app on my phone?
Is there supposed to be an event recorded when an alarm triggers, be that real or a test?
I dont get temp readings either.
There is no auto alarm, but you can easily create a notification via HA…
