So, do you have an IP150+ module? Because I have the an IP150+ module and I can’t get this thing working. Any help from you would be appreciated!
Could you please help me, because I also have IP150+ and I cannot integrate my alarm system with HA
Yes, I have a IP150, installed PAI on my HomeAssitant and made it talk to the IP150, once I got that confirmed and test via some test messages via MQTT Explorer I configured that interface in Home assistant. We’ve been using it now for 4 days and love it compared to InsiteGold.
Would have loved to have had InsiteGold still useable, just as a backup plan but not…
My next plan is to add a button in home assistant with which I can stop/disable a add on, in the case that something goes wrong with this integration then I can stop the PAI add-on and then revert back to InsiteGold.

Could you please show me your settings? I am trying to add this to HA, but unfortunately I can’t

I forgot to add next to mqtt_host. add your server IP there
hmm interesting, everywhere where I replaced my value with a place holder was removed…
specify you password next to Mqtt_Password.

I get a message about wrong pc password
I can’t really understand what I am doing wrong
Is password by default ‘0000’?
yes… try it as is…

Unfortunately, no success. I don’t know what else can I do
Got ERROR Message: Partition in code lockout (too many bad entries)
Means PAI has tried too many times with wrong password, panel has blocked further password checks. You need to wait some time to try different password again.
Things to try:
- Try empty PASSWORD:
If that fails, I have two questions:
- Was it you who installed the system?
- Do you have Installer password?
No, it wasn’t me, but yes I have Installer’s password. Password is 0010. I don’t know if the problem is because of the zeros, because I’ve read that if the password contains zeros, it’s possible to have issues with login.
Do you mean to leave empty this option?
Something like this?
PASSWORD: ‘’
yes. Leave it empty.
What panel you have? Try replacing 0010
with aa1a
. Some panels have this weird password encoding.
Thank you very much! The code aa1a worked!!!
Does it work with IP150 or IP150s? It is said to work only with IP150s. As far as I know, IP150s are no longer manufactured.
Hi there,
thanks for the support for Paradox alarm for Home Assistant. I installed it yesterday and worked immediately. I have MG5050 and IP150.
Still I do have a problem with the PGMs. I use a device that uses 2 PGMs tor turning lights on/off. The device accepts a pulse from the PGMs and also from wall push buttons sending main voltage pulses (with optocouplers isolation and for command uses optotriacs).
So far I configured two buttons on Paradox’s remote to send those pulses (in Babymonitor you can choose the high level time for the pulse as well as default level). It worked fine for more than 5 years now.
Now with HA the two PGMs appear in main screen and when I click on them they turn on and then off as expected but the lights sometimes turn on w/o turning off or reverse in an non controllable way. To reset from this situation I use the remote control buttons that seem to bring the system to the correct state.
My feeling is that the PGMs go high but they don’t go low so that the pulse is shaped.
I also see that the lights are turning on by themselves sometimes after 1h or so while nobody touches the alarm and the HA. This mean that the PGMs are receiving a command somehow.
So how should I start investigating this? I am new to HA although a developer for other software.
Thanks
