Connection failure on fresh install Pi2 B

Gday,

Im attempting a fresh install on my Rpi 2 B due to <long_story/>.

Im seeing “Connection refused” in the web UI. I have seen other posts and checked that the time is correct (it is). The Pi can not get dns info and thus cant connect to the internet.

dns info tells me:
Get http://hassio/dns/info: dial tcp 172.30.32.2:80: connection refused

Im stumped, this is a fresh install! Any ideas?

That does not appear to be a full ip address?

Can anyone help here? This is a fresh install on a pi2 using the hassio instructions provided. The hassio supervisor cant be reached and the dns module fails.

Do you think this has anything to do with my initial problem here: Failure to upgrade 103.0 to 103.6 Rpi

It sounds like you have a hardware issue, time to say your goodbyes :sob: , and pull out the wallet. And say hello to your new Pi4 :star_struck:

nope… NOOBS image works fine.

If you google this error you will get many, many instances of people running into this error for various reasons.

1: Date/Time set incorrectly causes certificate error
2: NTP protocol blocked
3: Hardcoded IP address in payload
4: Some other issue I dont understand with the solution being to “delete all docker containers”
5: Ensuring power supply is 2.4A

I havent tried 4: yet (and need to double-check 5) but from what I can see the “recent” docker changes are a catastrophe.

Also just tried a fresh install on RPi3. Same deal.

Get http://hassio/dns/info: dial tcp 172.30.32.2:80: connection refused

Same here but on Intel-NUK
Any ideas?
