Connection problem with: Xiaomi Ir remote mode: chuangmi.remote.v2 fw_version: 2.0.6_0006

HI All,

I have integrated the xiaomi IR remote with:

"model":"chuangmi.remote.v2"
fw_version":"2.0.6_0006"
## Home Assistant 0.103.4 '

But in the hassio, logs i can see that it cant connect…

There is any problem with this devices? closed port?

Finally!!, it works.

Put your hassio and Ir remote on the same network, same iprange.

It works like the xiaomi gateway, they should be in the same network, same IPrange.

as a curiosity, the xiaomi vaccum v1 and S50, this is not necessary. it can work on different ip ranges.

but i am only used 1 iprange… like 192.168.0.1/24
and the xiaomi gateway 、remote are all in the same network…
Unfortunately it doesn’t work… :fearful:

For me, it doesn’t work either. :frowning:

[homeassistant.components.xiaomi_miio.remote] Initializing with host 192.168.2.96 (token 7dc41...)
[homeassistant.components.remote] Setup of remote platform xiaomi_miio is taking over 10 seconds.
[miio.miioprotocol] Got error when receiving: timed out
[homeassistant.components.xiaomi_miio.remote] Device unavailable or token incorrect: No response from the device

@XinuX How did you retrieve the token? I used the miio method: Problem with Xiaomi IR Remote token
