Create a streaming radio service in HASS

Hello,

I’m trying to create a streaming radio service to integrate in Hass but i don’t know where to start.
What i’m trying to accomplish:

  • Play steamradiostations on lovelace
  • Select streaming station and play
  • Play radio with just one buttonpress on a switch

The hardware i can use:

  • Pi 3 with HASS
  • Pi 3 with OpenElec
  • Xiaomi Mibox (Android TV box) unused

What are the best options to do this?

Install raspbian on the openelec pi with kodi and VLC installed?
Then load a playlist with the radio stations on VLC?

Or use the chromecast function on the Mibox?

Or something totally different?
