Hi, I just discovered this wonderful card and decided to spin up a plex media server to test with (currently using Kodi). Everything is working great so far but I noticed when opening the card as a pop-up via browser mod, not all items in the library are available to scroll through. I’m able to search and I can find the items successfully. When not as a pop-up, all items are available to scroll through. Is this a known limitation?
Were you ever able to get this to work? I’ve linked Plex and Sonos and can play music on my Sonos from the Plex app. From Plex Meets Home Assistant I can play music to Kodi and actual plex clients, just not Sonos.
It should be possible if I add support for Sonos - Home Assistant integration. It will require plex pass though, Plex Media Server - Home Assistant .
I will need a tester though since I do not own any sonos devices.

Thanks, the experimental build works great!! I’m able to cast music to all of my Sonos devices and everything seems to work as intended. I’m able to play at the artist, album and track levels. Video, as noted, does not work. As requested in the testing, I disabled the Plex integration, restarted HA, and re-tested. Music did not play although the orange Play button was available. I re-enabled the integration and music played as expected.

im only getting this error right here. Nothing changed on my plex server etc. If if re-configure everything it also doesnt work. Any idea how i could fix that? Thank you!

Does this card handle multiple plex servers? I just set it up for my music server and when trying to play a track, I get the following error:
Requested Plex server ‘DiskStation’ not found in [‘Slavestate’]
diskstation is the Plex server that I have configured in the card as that holds my music, Slavestate is my main Plex server that holds videos.
I can provide the full stack from the logs if needed.
Yes, you will also need to configure DiskStation server via plex integration.

Is there a way to specify to display and play a media file under a specific Plex Home account? I want to be able to play a kids show on my kid’s account instead of whatever account happened to be last logged in (mine or my wife).
Account is chosen by its plex token. If you wish to play things on a different account, put in that account plex token. You could create multiple cards/dashboards depending on which plex token you wish to use.

IPTV is currently not supported.
Thanks. Do managed accounts have their own plex tokens? The “view XML” link doesn’t show up for them in the UI as the normal way to grab a token, but I can sift through the logs.
Nevermind, I was able to extract it using dev tools! Just set up different cards now and testing. Thanks!
EDIT: Tested and working perfectly now. Thanks. For anyone that might be interested, to get the plex token for managed accounts, use dev tools when clicking get info on a library item when logged into that account and you’ll find the token in the payload of the network call.
Hey. Ive got the following problem.
Im running duckdns + SSL certificate which is valid. Sometimes the integration works and sometimes doesnt and i dont know why. My PLEX is not running SSL.
Is there any way to investigate this? Thanks!

It is mentioned at the start of the readme and here multiple times. You cannot access http from https home assistant.
