How do you create an empty sensor in HA?
set_state creates a sensor when there is none.
the problem with that is that it is there but it isnt.
you can see it in HA, you can add it to a group in HA, you can do anything with it in HA and you can update it with HA.
but when you try to reach it from the dashboard it doesnt seem to exist.
damn i found out my problem with it.

I’ll be re-doing the battery sensor now. LOL Just made my life a WHOLE lot easier. I fit works for input_booleans and other things too, it will make a lot of automations a lot easier to tie in with HA.
