Daikin + ESP32 + ESPHome = Local Control!

Hi,

Is it working with FTXC35D ?

Thank you

does it have a s21 port?

How can I find out?

Just open the lid and check the diagram

Ftxc-d has s21 port.

I also want to try using ESP32-C3 supermini but not working for now. I have no idea about joshbenner write about pins inverted (GitHub - joshbenner/esphome-daikin-s21: ESPHome Component for Daikin Mini-Splits using the S21 serial port.).
I have noticed your settings for Tx and Rx are opposite from ESP32-C3 (Tx for GPIO 21 and Rx for GPIO 20). Is it related to the pins interted?

Witch one is the s21 port?

obviously the one on the right with label s21…

Can you please mark it on the image? I dont see it.

Thank you very much

Thank you very much.
This means that I can control it with ESP?

Thank you

@ggaljoen Did you (or anyone else) end up trying to use the Faikin firmware for your M5stamp variant? I am going to attempt similar with an ESP32 and the other components you mentioned, however I only have a S403 connector in my AC unit so slightly different pinout on the Daikin side.

No Faikin success for me with the M5 ESP32-PICO-D4 based, maybe with the S3 variant you can have more luck. Did not went that road (yet).

Hi

Thank you for your work but I don’t figure out how to weld all together. Would you mind to publish an scheme of how to connect all thos parts together and with the S21 connector?

Thank you in advance.

Hope this will solve your puzzle.

Thank you very much!!
