DD - Automatic area-based dashboard for desktop, tablet and mobile - V3.7.0

On the android app the icons for homepage lights and cameras are now on top which is causing some weird spacing with the “Good Evening” text. I’ve also lost the weather, home information and alarm status icons in the app.

Thanks for all the work on the big v2.0 update! I’m having an issue with the light mode theme, trying to figure out if I screwed something up here:

Which version of HA are you running? It must be minimal 0.117

That is a weird bug. Do you got the latest HA version? Did you try to do a HA reboot and did you clear your browser cache?

Hello Dwain,

I must say, it is an insane update. the codebase is really advanced.
The installation is as easy as snipping your fingers, and it is really fast and smooth.

Thank you for youre time an knowlage to make this beautiful theme.

Great work Dwain! Much appreciated all the effort. Dashboard is much faster and some nice new features to play around with, I have some great things in mind as custom popups to implement (only to find time to play with it).
Updates are super fast and I really like the way it is setup. All custom configs, outside your core is not overwritten by an update, which makes life easier.

Tip to everybody when you are having issues after an upgrade: clear your cache (“cntr + F5”)!!!

I’m not using the theme at this moment, but it looks really good. Also good documentation on Github, great job on this one!

I have a question, how easy will it be to remove this theme after installing? Is it fairly easy to switch back to the current thema and remove the Dashboard Integration?

Good question. The dashboard is a whole stand alone dashboard. So you can keep your existing yaml or ui-based dashboards. If you uninstall the integration of Dwains Dashoard everything will be uninstalled automatically.

I’m running 0.117.6

Strange because since 0.117 the header is changed to compact one so no top title and I see you got an top title. You sure you are on 117?

Positive

I’ve removed the add-on and installed numerous times. I even tried installing it while using the app instead of a pc. Doing it that way the homepage icons showed up on the bottom when the page started to load and then jumped back to the top after loading.

Could you clear the frontend cache?

It seems to be a bug on some android devices. I need to fix it in an upcoming update. So for now you are stick with an top header

The issue with my missing people icons was because I had previously set the image up using customize.yaml and when updating to 2.0.0 I also set it up through config->People. By removing it from customize.yaml the images appeared.

Now just need to wait for the android fix so I can see the weather and access my alarm controls :expressionless: Maybe I’ll just put it in a custom room for now.

sorry, should have been more clear in my original question. I am on the latest HA release and I have cleared my browser cache + rebooted HA. I’ll continue to dig into it to see what I can find

Other than a few minor config / resource changes (as noted above) , this went pretty smooth for me.

Thanks for your efforts!

Just installed 2.0, you made it really easy this time to install!
Quite some steps to update from 1.4, although, not the hardest ones if you read carefully.

This feels blazing fast now, even faster than the previous updates where you made speed improvements.

im in the same boat as @jon102034050. All the icons are white, which works okay in dark mode. But not so much in light mode.

What you can do is go to Integrations -> Dwains Dashboard Options them in the popup at the bottom set the theme to dark or light and see if you got blue icons then.
