I do not think insurance companies pubæish their decisions online. Maybe because there is always specifics to each case that makes them different and their cant warn against the CE sign as such.
If there is an importer or manufacturer on the European markets, then it is a great sign to find on a product.
If there is a sign on a product a consumer buy from outside the European markets, then the sign is worthless, but the product might still be good quality.
The fake sign will not be used by the insurance companies to deny a claim. It is the products quality that will be the cause for the denial.
The customer just can’t use the sign as a counter argument then.
