Just simply due to the noise it creates, and dumps in to syslog. I would like to separate the busy items like device tracker to go to its own log, and not syslog or the hass log.
Have you tried setting the device tracker domain logger level to something like ‘error’?
I know that with the default set to error most of the time, I never see device tracker messages so you should be able to set the level for them independently or is that just for components?
I think something like this would be better suited to filtering and cutting through the noise.

I did, but I was generating a lot of traffic when testing stuff… However, I have resolved it, so no worries.
