Device updates via ZHA just come and go

Can anyone help with this?

I have a good number of Zigbee devices attached via ZHA. I have a number of innr bulbs. Quite often a number of these show up in repairs and indicate that a firmware update is available. The firmware updates don’t work. What’s odd is that the repairs come and go. One day they’ll appear and then the next time I look they’ll be gone. I’ve tried ignoring the updates but they still come back from time to time.

I’m not even interested in updating the firmware.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Check the devices page for your Innr bulbs. You should have an update/update_available entity. Disable it and move on with your life if everything’s working as intended.

Now the ZHA integration does not officially support OTA for Innr devices by default (because by default currently only supports OTA for KEA, Inovelli, Ledvacnce/OSRAM, SALUS/Computime, Sonoff/iTead, and Third Reality), so it sounds as if you at some point have gone into configuration YAML and activated zha’s experimental zigpy OTA downloads from Zigbee2MQTT’s inofficial OTA repository Z2M), so you probably want to remove that as that is decepdated and not recommended. See my replies to related question posted in this other thread → OTA settings in config.yaml

Hi @Hedda

Thanks for your help. My configuration.yaml doesn’t have a zha: key. I’m sure it never has.
