Is it possible to have per-user GUIs? I don’t want the kids messing about with the lights in my room, for example, or the heating. I control the bathroom lights with a secondhand tablet. I’d prefer if no other device had access to the bathroom lights!
The only solution I can see is individually attached switches.
Any idea how I could solve this?
Not yet, but it’s in the works. It’s one of the reasons we have user accounts and not an API password anymore

Try this custom card…
It’s pretty but not sure how it stops the kids turning off the bathroom lights while I’m on the can!

Just spotted this feature request:
I want to have a way, to assign different views to diffferent users. My lovelace view contains the full functionality, I have set up,
But I need a much simpler version for the family members.
Per-user lovelace would be my #1 request.
Oddly, that feature request contains a claim that it does what I want. Just not seeing it…

I think you can set which display shows which views so you can prevent your kids from seeing the can lights in the first place.
