I use the Wiser heating integration to control my boiler. However, when the heating system is off, as it often is, the logs fill with errors complaining that the wiser system can not be reached.
I can disable the integration via the GUI, but was looking for a way to programatically disable it, such that I can use an automation that only enables it when the switch controlling the boiler is on
I asked the very same question for some other integration. As far as i understand, there is no way to do it systematically on HA side. But this depends on the capabilities of the integration itself; in my case it was not possible. You should check with the developer of Wiser heating integration for that, if it supports disabling programatically.
