Drag N Drop is Here!

Any update for this? Some things don’t work too well still.

It has been updated once i know and is now available in HACS . If you installed via hacs then you are probably on the newest version. If not using hacs you can find the newest version here https://github.com/zsarnett/Custom-Grid-View/releases

Mine seems to work pretty well now, they fixed a lot of issues in the hacs version. But fyi be sure to refresh your web browser often when editing. For some reason the changes that I make do not show until I refresh the page or clear my browser history for the last hour.

Oh, thanks. I had the original I did manually.

Are there any updates on this? The last release I can see on Github is form Dec 2020…

I have it working fairly well. I was getting the error that custom:grid-dnd wasn’t a valid type, but finally fixed it by hard refreshing the page. I also restarted HA fwiw in case that had an effect.

Right now for me it isn’t quite totally usable, though. I’ll find that cards will reset to other positions after saving or after leaving the edit screen. This seems to follow the same logic of how the masonry layout type works and if you have card on the bottom that is too far down it will still reflow that for you.

I’ll try playing around with it a little more and maybe I’ll get a feel for it.

It also sort of works on mobile. I’ve gotten it working in a mobile browser. In the app it shows a blank screen until I move my phone to landscape and then everything shows up even if I move it back to portrait.

Helllo,
While trying to integrate the drag and drop repo via the custom repositories via HACS integration I recieved the following message: Repository structure for 0.0.4 is not compliant has somebody else faced the same issue or am I doing something wrong?

Is this being updated? I was unable to get this to work in Home Assistant 2022.7.6, Frontend 20220707.1 - latest

This is great! It should be default in Lovelace. Too bad it seems stalled in development.
