Ecobee No Longer Allows API keys

Appears as if Ecobee has killed their API creation and is changing how things work.
Any recommendations on a replacement brand?

Hey Everyone! I woke up this morning to Ecobee not responding within my Home Assistant. Reloading or rebooting did not fix it.
