Energy Dashboard integration of ventilation system

Hey,

need you’re advise/help.
I have integrated my air ventilation system with this guide as templated sensor
Integrate Poloplast PoloAir ventilation systems using Modbus integration.

is it possible (how) to appear this system as consumer in the energy dashboard?. currently the sensor doesn’t appear in the config.

As far as I can tell from the UI itself (so not quite sure) only sensors with state_class: measurement and unit_of_measurement: 'kWh' show up - see here: How to enable power consumption statistics - #9 by pedolsky

Best guess is you have to create a sensor with above configuration to read address: 927 (haven’t tried) which gives you daily energy use in Wh (so divide by 1000 to get kWh) and should be readable by the Energy Dashboard. If this does not work you could try a new template sensor reading this.

Hey,

Sensor is visible but the measures differ 43 constantly instead of around 62 kw.

I haven’t had the chance yet to implement that on my test system. In a quick test I wasn’t able to read the correct register…
