I have ‘converted’ 2 power state entities from smart outlets with the Riemann helper. Modified them via customize.yaml.
Both these new entities show up in developer tools > states and both are adding up the values in kWh. as they should.
Both can be added to the energy dashboard, but only one of them (washing machine) is actually tracking the power usage. The other one stays at 0Kwh. I have this configuration running for about 10 days now and only notice this now. Does anyone have an idea on what could be wrong?
Seems like i fixed this issue. did some deeper digging and came across someone else with a similar problem. I added my findings to that post because it’s higher in the Google index.
