You may also want to try shutting down Home Assistant and doing:
sudo chown -R homeassistant:homeassistant /srv/homeassistant/That`s seem Python is not easy to upgrade. Maybe i should install new Hassbian image or install Hass.io
Upgrading should be easy enough - I’ve done it twice already.
Your current problem is nothing to do with Python upgrades though
