Same here - no preview, but if you click on it you get the stream as before.
One by one the cameras stopped working since yesterday. When I try to stream it says now that itās 401 not authorized
Same thing since today, no more preview picture for the camera.
I realize that the battery cameras can still stream even without previews but the indoor cameras donāt do stream nor previews
We are waiting until the cause of the error is found and the developers fix it.
This is how I got it working, this solution was found on github,
Go into the Eufy Security Add-ons
Go to configuration
Edit it in YAML
Add the following line
TRUSTED_DEVICE_NAME: DEVICENAME
Save it and restart. Please let me know if it works!
I have noticed that url of pictures are changed now, earlier they were pointing to some endpoints on the internet, now they are pointing to local home bases. This might also explain missing pictures in web portal.
I will reach out to @bropat to find a solution.
Please track here for local base station based pictures: [Question]: Cover_Path returns local file Ā· Issue #273 Ā· bropat/eufy-security-client Ā· GitHub
Makes sense given the massive backlash to finding out the supposedly local only devices where uploading unencrypted picture to the internet.
There locking down the api to try and keep others from noticing what there doing plus moving things to try and look a tad more honest.
Hopefully there is a way to get it from the homebases/devices or they support HA otherwise this part of the integration may be dead.
The upside is if we can get it locally then its not likely to change after that or be a issue in the future.
Iāve just decided to update for the first time in a while. Iāve brought my docker eufy-security-ws up to date to 1.2.0, which seems to be working with the trusteddevicename fix, abnd then I updated my HA intergration, to 2.9 but when I did that, my integration disappeared. I tried re-downloading from HACS and rebooting, but this hasnāt fixed it. I then tried to remove it from HACS and canāt. It just wonāt remove.
Iām pretty stuck now, what should I try?
Different question, is there an easy way I can get the popup to open up in fullscreen straight away instead of clicking the fullscreen button?
Same problem with the preview here, so just following if there is a solution
Feature Request: Select a folder in which to store the camera files.
Iām getting the 401 not authorized as well with webrtc RTSP streaming card. I tried going into the Eufy app, disabling RTSP stream and re-enabling it but that didnāt fix it.
Did you end up finding a fix?
There has been Homebase update 2 days ago and I think they changed something. Probably camera snapshots are not stored in cloud anymore but locally on homebase.
Correct. The uploading of unecrypted pictures to the web caused massive backlash and there trying to safe face .
The problem is getting the pictures off the devices themselves which the dev are working on.
This is new for me, i didnt know of this new config
SO under settings > general > name (this name i need to fill in under trusted device name?
Edit: this fixed it for me, now i have my cameras back
Hello guys. Iām new here.
I have the eufy add on installed on my HA instance.
It worked perfectly till this morning when the integration started again to ask for captcha which is not visible (on form) at all.
The configuration cards look messy. Please, have a look at the screens.
Ideas?
I tried everything from deleting all to reinstall piece by piece. Nothing works.
Could you share any configuration/automations/cards you have other than the integration guide on github? Canāt seem to get it working. Sometimes these cameraās (T8114) suddenly become unavailable.
This also happens, state is streaming, but no video.
