How? I always get “Command failed: 99” after I insert the Configuration Code in Home Assistant Matter Server (Add shared device).
Share Device is wrong (although it would be logical), you need to use Commission Device.
And important, use the “coupling code” you have to activate in HK on the device and at the bottom the pairing mode.
However, the joy was too hasty. . I was able to integrate all the door/window and plugs.
But unfortunately the Matter/Thread network is still messy, here too it comes to failure.
Let’s hope Eve gets this under control. . mainly extreme advertising, but in the end nothing works. .
Okay wow - it actually works. I thought if I commission a device, I put it under control of Home Assistant. And since my Eve Energy is already commissioned in Apple Home, I would have to user “Add shared device”.
BUT - I can only turn it on / off. I don’t get any energy data from the plug. And this is what I actually need…
