Exchange Conbee 1 by version 2 or 3

Hey together,

I think about to exchange my old conbee 1 stick with a new one.

Is this an easy going?
Menas just plugout the old one and plugin the new?

My understanding with the Zigbee system is that the config / paring info is saved on your system rather than the Zigbee coordinator, so it should be a case of simply swapping them out.

(hopefully I haven’t got that mixed up with Z-Wave as I remember one of them has it saved on the stick, the other on the HA config. Should be easy enough to search the forum to confirm)

Migration from Conbee II to ConBee III

I have recently bought the new ConBee III stick and thought it was a piece of cake to migrate my existing lamps, sensors and switches from my ConBee II stick. I have failed so far as most of the sensors and switches were not recognized anymore. So I switched back to ConBee II.
