Fibaro Rollet Shutter 3 - Calibration does not work

Hi,

I installed a roller shutter fibaro module ( FGR-223 EU v5.1).
It is well recognized in Hass since the integration Zwave with Aeotec Z-Stick Gen +5.
(I used Zwave even though it is depreciated because ZwaveJS does not take the Fibaro module yet).

I can’t get the module calibrated.
I have a switch with three positions :

  • Top (Open)
  • Middle (Neutral to stop the roller shutter to a specific position)
  • Bottom (Closed)

For the moment, Hass recognizes the shutter well but cannot control it.
When I press the switch, I see the consumption on Hass that changes so they both communicate well.

Any ideas on how to calibrate?

Ok… Sorry, it works now.
Calibration seems to be ok.

Now, i can’t use roller shutter with Hass.

In fact, i dont know how to used it on hass.
Calibration is OK, hass can communicate with fibaro roller shutter to do calibration but after that, where should i go on hass to control the roller shutter ?

Nothing happens if I click on the arrow while the shutter is closed so it should open, right?
I’m new in Hass…

This morning, Hass can not communicate with Fibaro roller shutter 3.
I don’t know why :’(
This module will drive me crazy :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Yesterday :

  • The status was “Ready” (and then switched to “Dead” after few minutes).
  • I could start the calibration from Hass by forcing the parameter 150 on 2.

Today :

  • If i click on the switch wall, Hass will received information and the status will be “initialisation” and few second later, it’s " Dead"
  • The calibration no longer works since Hass. As if he cannot communicate with the module but the module can communicate with Hass.

Calibration is done only 1 time.

Is there anything in the log?

Oh you are using the old integration. Sorry I do no kno how to troubleshoot that.

But what do you see/happens when you click on the middle picture on “FIBARO System FGRM223 Roller Shutter Controller 3”? Do you see the entity? Can you control that?

Since you are only have devices I advise to start over with the newest zwave integration ZwaveJS because that uses the newest OZW (1.6) and yours is stopped development and is 1.4.

I think that will be a huge step towards a working device… since your device is pretty new…

Problem is that ZwaveJS seems to does not supported yet fibaro roller shutter 3 :confused:
I tried to used it but failed to connect module…
I’ll try again to install ZwaveJS.

Roller shutter is closed (from switch). From Hass, nothing happens if i click on the up arrow…

ZwaveJS is an add-on ? It’s not on configuration->integration ?

I removed Zwave.

Installed ZwaveJS Add-on, configured Aotec Z-Wave stick gen+5

Selected ZWaveJs, it asked me a “connection”

I have read somewhere you will have to try a few times… since you installed the addon via theis:
config zwavejs
check if it is really setup and running (supervisor).

Then add the integration again.

But… to be honest installing zwaveJS is another topic and the forum is full of that at the moment…

Works with ZwaveJS.
Take a look at this message : Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5+ (ZW090) on Rpi4 always end up with dead nodes

Hi there!
Is there any requirement to add the Fibaro RS to HA via Z-Wave JS and Aeotec 5?
I just unpair it successfully from smartthings but i cannot pair it with HA…tryied 20 times and nothing.
Even reset the fibaro to default and nothing.
Is there any advice or trick?
