Thanks for providing these details. I have setup a total fire ban automation now using the rss feed.
HI. I have setup this to monitor total fire banâs, however i noticed that the automation doesnât seem to fire unless I reboot my Home Assistant. I have not used feedreader before, but I have followed what you provided, and it appears to be setup correctly (I am in the big smoke, so have change it to Central)
Anyway, I was wondering if its working for you. I guess I want to have it working over the next few days, so it will be good to go next summer.
Thanks You
Yes it updates. But the feedreader integration seems buggy. If I set the scan_interval it didnât update at all. I had to leave it as I have it above with no extra attributes.
Hey all, this post is looking great. Really simpliefied especially those within the NSW Region.
I used to have similar thing displaying on the dashboard for Central Victoria - but I cannot remember the life of me where/or how I got it, and ended up completing it, couple of days off googling and searching for the orignal code - I wouldnt be surprised it has been removed. Which leads me into the next question!
Does anyone have any guide, or instructions (something simple) to use for us here in Central Victoria - I did read of the the posts above within someone being based in the region here - but I was stuck on the boolean section. Assistance, guidance would be amazing! Keep up the good work.
