Formatting of media player in dashboard without image and with volume control

I have two Sonos devices and would like to remove the cover images from the dashboard and add a volume control if that’s possible. How would I do that? Thanks!

If your not using Lovelace than this is a good moment to switchover :grinning:

The Mini Media Player is a very fine solution. And Lovelace is wonderful. Amazing options but still much to learn! :wink:
