Getting a panic message on startup that says "ro" shorthand is more than one ASCII character

Just found out i’m facing the same issue. I restart constantly but it always comes back. Now it didn’t, so though i’d check the logs on the console. I have this error message as mentioned above.

So, I don’t know for how long i’ve been experiencing this, I hardly ever look at the CLI. After rebooting the entire host it came back. The error remains, but at least HA is working again.

Core 2024.2.3
Supervisor 2024.02.0
Frontend 20240207.1

Running on a HP TC 540 Debian12 bookworm supervised.

I’ll be waiting on the latest version then. Hopefully it’ll be released soon.

Update to 2024.2.4 fixed it for me. Thanks to the devs!

That’s great to hear. I saw a new OS and a new core are available. Did you update both or just the core?

First the OS, then the Core. Just because that was the order they arrived at my installation. The OS was upgraded several hours before the Core.

(I had already upgraded Core to 2024.2.3 after this problem occurred, so the upgrade process itself was not broken for me. But only with 2024.2.4 did the Cli problem get fixed.)

I can confirm, updating to the latest release fixes the CLI for me too.

Mine started working on its own

I can confirm updating to the latest version of both the OS and Core solved the problem. Thanks so much to everyone that responded and a massive thanks to all the developers!!
