Hi, I need to give access to some switches (external door, plus small office door, some lights) to a “stranger”, well not total stranger but not part of my family.
How can I do this? Is it (relatively) safe?

If you are interested in an alternative that allows constant access (by not having to generate new links all the time, but instead having a registered user), I have built a small web-app a while ago which is pretty strict in terms of authentication and leverages webhooks to execute actions. However, it’s not as easy to set up und requires some infrastructure to run on. So the solution posted above might fit your requirements better. But it’s always nice to have options.
