GoControl HUSBZB-1 on remote pi zero w?

I have HA installed on my NUC via Docker. I have a Pi Zero W in another part of the house that I want to install the HUSBZB-1 onto because I was having range issues from the NUC in my office. Can I use a pi zero w to send sensor information from the remote PI to HA? Maybe via mqtt?

HA is not installed on the Pi Zero W. I’m looking to use both Zwave and zigbee devices on the remote pi and the HUSBZB-1. Happy to clarify and very much appreciate any guidance you can give me. The HUSBZB-1 came with zero documentation and I haven’t had much luck finding it to date.

You could use zigbee2mqtt for that on the pi zero w. Just keep in mind that Zigbee uses the same 2.4 frequencies than your Wifi though.

Zigbee2mqtt does not support the HUSBZB-1. Use usbip.

RPi as Z-Wave/ZigBee-over-IP server for Hass

Project goal Setup an RPi as a USB-over-IP server. Run Hass on a VM (or wherever) and connect to a Z-Wave/ZigBee/etc dongle physically plugged into an RPi somewhere on your network.
