Google Maps Location Sharing component - still not working

That worked, used “rm” to remove and then readded a new file but still get no updates of location in hassio even though in google maps I can see it tracking properly…

Ok so what fixed my issue is the following:

Replaced this:
.google_maps_location_sharing.cookies.xxxxx_gmail.com

To:
.google_maps_location_sharing.cookies.xxxxx_gmail_com

Ah, yes, that would do it. Sorry, didn’t notice that detail in your earlier post. Glad you got it working!

Mine just recently broke. tried everything under the sun. I am not sure why the on the HA page it tells you to check that “prefix http” box, but it clearly needs to be unchecked like you said.

I’d love some help.
The tracker no longer works for me on the latest version. I get the following error on the log although i’ve changed nothing with the configuration:
ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.hassio] Platform error device_tracker.group - No module named ‘homeassistant.components.group.device_tracker’
