I have a light sensor that shows the luminance in the room. I want lights to automatically turn on, only when there is below 35 lumens. MY device is called “Kitchen luminance sensor”
In an automation when I start typing “Kitchen…” it does not show. But if I type “lum” it shows. That must be a bug? Before always used to show. It happens with other sensors as well, and it started recently? How to fix it?
OK thanks I know this is another way to set the same automations, I was just told this will work. But I wish the older way with “DEVICES” was also fixed. Thanks
I have also noticed that when partly typing the name of a device it doesnt show up in the suggested devices list. For instance, look at this screen shot where I have typed in the word ‘kitchen’
No devices have been suggested
Now I’ll type light…
And two devices, with kitchen in their name appear! This bug has only been happening recently.
Another example… if I type ‘Arch’ I no longer get the kitchen arch listed from above, but get some other devices that don’t seem related to the search term at all:
