I‘m pretty new in the HA world and Im facing Problems during installing HA operating system (Instructions from the Homepage) i created an ubuntu Boot stick and tried Ubuntu from this stick.
Then I downloded the image and tried to install it After I Downloaded the image (installing via URL was Not working for me.
At the stage of 36% flashing the whole system is frozen and nothing is happening anymore (tried it several Times). Anyone who faced the Same Problem and knows a Solution?
Having similar problems myself. I bought two Lenovo tiny machines. I did get the first one installed successfully. However I am having difficulty with the second. I have been following the method from Home Automation Guy here https://www.homeautomationguy.io/blog/home-assistant-tips/installing-home-assistant-os-onto-an-intel-nuc-or-other-pc
I have two USB sticks, one with the Ubuntu on it and one with the HA install on it.
First problem was in getting my Lenono pc to boot from USB. I could not access BIOS from F2 or ESC on startup. However with the Ubuntu USB stick in the Lenovo Tiny I did get it to start by going in WIndows System and at some level choosing Boot from USB, then select Try Ubuntu. However I am now having trouble copying the second USB stick’s file onto the PC so that I could switch it off and switch it on again to start HA from the SSD boot area.
My difficulty is shown in another post on this forum here https://community.home-assistant.io/t/haos-install-failing-on-lenovo-thinkstation/555392
