I censored the IP address. Should I not do that?
I forgot if it’s static or dynamic or whatever. On my router’s browser UI it says for my HA Yellow that it always gets the same IPV4 address.

??? Any number of electrical issues? Failed capacitor, Surge on the network wire, short on a powered Poe segment, sunspots?

Not worth chasing honestly. IMHO. Just know if one failed it won’t be the last. So start finding another.

Maybe not buying a refurbished one? This one was refurbished.

Quality gear, protected by decent surge suppression on all your electronics. (I have whole home surge suppression at my electric panel - HIGHLY recommend in Smarthome environments and is code in the US for new builds)

I don’t really know what surge suppression is. Can you send me an example link of a surge suppression I could purchase? How much does it + installing it cost?

Are you sure it’s dead? Advanced network devices will shut down ports if something odd happens and you can turn them back on. Depends on your device.

“Something odd” = Unexpected electrical signals. I’m the kind of guy that has the manual for every piece of hardware I own, so I can’t help you on the 30 second answer. It’s possible it isn’t an option for you.
