Any other ideas on how a newbie to HA could graph sensor data to a dashboard connected to HA?
depends on your knowledge from programming in JS and css and html.
if you are experienced enough in that, you could create your own custom widget.
if not i guess you need to have some patience and hope that i (or someone else) will find the time to create 1.
