Dear Forum,
I always struggled to do easy testing of new and maybe wild automation rules. "Hey I just need a button to trigger this … and a sensor that simulates this input … and … ".
But no more! I had some spare time at hand and build myself a small device ready to tackle this problem. And since I am a nerd, and had some switches from the 70th/80th laying around, I decided that it would finally be time to build my own HAL9000.
“Let me show you it’s features”:
Basically this is a battery powered ESP32 with a bunch of sensors, displays and buttons attached to it. ESPHome did again do great job on combining all those components into one easy to use system.
Oh and this is how it look in reality:
I hope you enjoy this project as much as I do,
Christian
