Has anyone had the problem where the status of accessories are not updating in Home unless you close and re-open the Home app?
(Side problem of this is push notifications for accessories, which is not working either, even if configured properly).
I’m using the native Homekit component to bridge accessories from Home Assistant to Apple Home.
Yes I have this also. My main device I notice it with is my alarm.
It used to work but now I don’t see the notifications come up.
I created an issue on Github about a similar issue. There’s several issues going on with HomeKit right now. This issue over on the HAP-python Github repo appears to fix a few issues such as getting “No Response” and automations not running. I’ve been running the fix for a couple days now and it resolved an issue I was having with automations. However, I’m still seeing some device updates not being pushed to HomeKit.
Okay, I decided to downgrade to 0.81.6 and everything works properly there.
