Hass.io on Odroid H2?

Short of an Intel NUC, the Odroid H2 look like it could be a nice hub platform. What would it take to promote this as an option for Hass.io?

What do you mean?

Buy one, install Linux, run Hassio install script. DONE.

That’s it??? Cool.

Edit: Forgot this…Thanks!

I just got the Odroid H2 up and running with Hass.io. I had an issue with the installation script, but eventually got things working by specifying the NUC configuration. Visual Studio Code loaded without any issues.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I’ve been reading posts regarding the rebranding of Hass.io and Hass.OS and it appears there will be some tighter integration with the Buildroot-based OS in the future. Here’s a related post by @frenck:

Since the above thread is locked, I can’t ask what might be an obvious question. Since Buildroot requires arcane (at least, to me) configuration information for every target system, how are Brand-X products accommodated? Specifically, I have an Odroid-H2 running what will be known as a Home Assistant Supervised installation. It’s working well, has VSCode capability, and supports future system growth.

Are there plans for expanding the selection of supported target systems? What current process allows user input?
