Is it possible to use a USB Camera with hass.io? And how?
Maybe it would be possible to make an addon for motion.

The component would be ready but is untested because I can’t get the camera device in my container.
id love to know this aswell. Ive had someone suggest setting the webcam up on a seperate pi then point your home assistant instance to this to grab the feed (essentially an webcam server) but i woud like to integrate it directly into Hass.io
Yes, setting up another pi would be a waste…
