Can you update title of this topic to : “HassOS 4.8+ Razberry breaks on RPI” ?

pulsar thank you very mach!!! gave me a thought!!
im run ha os update --version 3.8 and z-wave work again!!!

by the way 4.9 zwave not starting!

Can you tell me how to downgrade back to the old HassOS 3.12. My core temperature is too high. It’s now 15 degrees hotter than normal and there is no abatement on the memory being consumed. I know it’s now 4gb for the journal but I have surpassed that I’m sure. Nobody seems to answer me.

Just updated it. I raised an issue on Github. Can you second that?

Thanks for the tip! I also downgraded:

SSH into your RPI and run

ha os update --version 3.8

ZWave network is currently rebuilding. i hope they fix the new OS soon.

br

Z-wave works with the latest stable of version 3 :

ha os update --version 3.13

I don’t know if it’s dangerous or not to downgrade. At least I can control my shutters again.

Can that not be entered into the terminal within Home Assistant…Otherwise I’ll give that a go through SSH…thanks Guys…

ha os update --version 3.13

Not working for me. After downgrade to version 3.13:

I am thankful for any help

OS 3.8 (downgraded from 4.9) works for me. RPI3b, Razberry Board.

Terminal should work too.

You still seem to be in version 4.8.
After downgrading, it looks like this:

~ $ ha os info
board: rpi3
boot: A
version: "3.13"
version_latest: "4.8"

os 3.13 razberry working!

ha os info
board: rpi3
boot: B
version: “3.13”
version_latest: “3.13”

Has anyone else tried OS 4.10 yet? Pascal Vizelli closed the issue on Github commenting it should work in 4.10…

I update my rpi to 4.10 and it works for me. But I’m without zwave then probably not your case according to this topic subject.

Any news about hassos 4.10 and rpi4? Is it safe to upgrade?

Zwave perfectly working with HassOS 4.10 on rpi3b+.
This seems to be related to the linux kernel version:

RaspberryPi move back to 4.19 Kernel (#723) @pvizeli

I concur. 4.8 broke ZWave. And my Zigbee stick too.

Rolled back to 3.13 but still no good.

Upgrading to 4.10 and was able to get both usb sticks back working again.

I tried to roll back from 5.9 to 3.8 and it failed - this is the Supervisor log:

ERROR (MainThread) [supervisor.hassos] Home Assistant Operating System update failed with: Installation error: Failed updating slot boot.0: Opening output device /dev/disk/by-partlabel/hassos-boot failed: Device or resource busy

Hints anyone?
