Help with big numbers in sensor

Hello, have a problem I can’t find solution after months trying.
Have SNMP sensor receiving send and received bytes from router.
The data are big and when sensor arrives to 2145900000 falls to -2145900000.
Playing with data type float, int, uint32 could handle double value 4… but not bigger.

How can I solve the problem?
Will appreciate your help.

Follow the link and read the first post. Look for the section about an update. It explains the problem of integer overflow.

My apologies @Karumbe. This was the link I intended to post: SNMP bandwidth monitor using statistics and a utility meter - Configuration - Home Assistant Community (home-assistant.io).

Look for the section that says “UPDATE (2022-02-20)”. I hope it helps.
