I’d like some help in this area too, i’ve tried a hifiberry dac+ and a hifiberry amp and can’t get either to work by adding the correct overlay for each in the config.txt file (hifiberry-dacplus and hifiberry-amp)

Have you followed the rest of the steps in the hifiberry guide as well?

Also to note, on my setup the output name for the dac appears as: “Built-in Audio Stereo”
