Home Assistant Community Add-on: Grocy

Hi,

I might be missing something obvious, but I just tried installing the Grocy plugin but I get no “Grocy” choice in the sidebar. The instructions say to " * Go to Grocy-Wrench icon-Manage API keys-Add" … but not having anything in the sidebar… I am not sure how to proceed?

The Grocy side-bar is on top right

uhhh. either I am blind or it is not there. The very first post of this thread seem to suggest it is on the left under “logbook” and “history”?

Ok you need to check “add to side bar” at add-on configuration or click on “Open web-ui”

I am really sorry but where do I do that?

Ok I’m on hassbian with hass.io
Try https://192.168.1.7:8123/a0d7b954_grocy (replace ip or https://192.168.1.7:9192
With or without https, depending of your config

then I get 404 not found :frowning:

Did you install Grocy add-on before custom component ?

I just clicked install for grocy in HACS

Now you have to start it with all hacs settings checked

I followed the instructions on

Steps 1-4. But I can’t do 5.

I’m not sure I know what you mean by “Hass settings checked”?

I am not on Hass.io if that matters.

You need to start Grocy, this step is missing

I feel like a complete idiot. Thanks for your patience. But how do I start it?

Can you open an issue on custom component GitHub regarding this step

Like other add-on ? I’m on hass.io so not sure, I’m taking a screenshot

This screen I can’t get to.

Or check https://github.com/hassio-addons/addon-grocy

Sorry I’m out of idea :sob:

No worries thanks a lot anyways!
