Home assistant Connect ZBT-1 not recognized in HAOS

I just purchased a ZBT-1 USB dongle and it does not show up in HAOS. I’ve tried different USB ports, rebooted HAOS, rebooted the machine, waited 24 hours for the dongle to be recognized, checked the ‘show ignored’ and ‘show disabled’ integrations and nothing. I’ve booted the machine to Ubuntu and it looks like the device is recognized there-although I can do nothing with it-just shows as a Silicon labs chip on USB, etc. So I don’t think anything is wrong with the dongle. Just don’t understand why I don’t see it in HAOS.

Since this is the new name for SkyConnect, it might be the same casue (and solution) as the one mentioned here:

Try the following just to get some more insight:

• Unplug and after 1 or 2 seconds replug the USB stick back in.
• SSH into HA and type: dmesg | less then go to the end (hit G)
  You should see some USB events. Post those events here and we can take a look.
