Home Assistant OS on old laptop (wifi)

Hi,

I have installed Home Assistant OS (Generic x86-64) on an old laptop. The laptop does’nt have a ethernet port so I would like to enable wifi.

But when I boot the computer it start Home Assistant CLI and I cant do anything to setup wifi on it. Is there a way to exit Home Assistant CLI? If I write the command exit it reboots and go into the CLI again.

Or can I enable wifi some other way?

Best regards, Patrik

What about internal wifi in a laptop?

I mean not in a raspberry but a normal laptop (surface pro in this case)
Do this trick will work?
Any other workaround, maybe with a linux liveUSB to install wifi drivers?

The docs don’t mention anything about the hardware, it is just about the Manual Network Configuration within HAOS…
