Beyond automations, could this be used for scripts as well as the only difference is how they are triggered, correct? My initial thought was that you would need to create a dummy script in HA and then when the state of that script changes you would kick off your RED flow. Is that feasible?
good point @iantrich, actually I was having the same concern and was thinking to implement dummy input boolean for that and triger NR flows based on the status … but by doing that I feel like I’ll be using the HASS automation side and the NR for more Script process …
I really like NR but I feel somehow stuck with this scenario as well …
I just started looking at NR yesterday, but don’t feel that way if/when I transition to using NR. It’s just a matter if you want something to be triggerable from the HASS front-end, you need to add something to HASS, which makes sense. I looked at it further and see no reason why it shouldn’t work with some dummy script entries or input booleans.
